bloody nose

Last night Briana was fighting with Rufus and his nose started bleeding again. I put the Bactoderm on it, but it didn't seem to help much. He keeps licking his nose and seems nauseous. This morning his food bowl had blood on the inside where his nose must have touched it while he was eating.

I'm afraid Briana may be trying to become the dominant cat, (not that she isn't already). I don't want Rufus getting hurt. If this keeps up, I'll have to separate them.

boo-boo and barf

Sunday, Rufus had a boo-boo on his nose. It took a while to scab and then it was huge. Wednesday, he was sleeping so I tried to sneak a slice of cheese. When I went to get back in bed my foot hit something and I heard the most pathetic yelp. He had been following me and I kicked him in the nose knocking the scab loose. :-(
It took a while to scab again.

Thursday he threw up again, so he's back on the Leukeran 3 times a week.

I saw the vet today when I was picking up his med and he gave me some stuff for the nose.

Hairball

Sunday night after midnight Rufus warfed up the biggest hairball. Monday morning he threw up his medicine. If he pukes again this week, I'm going to have to up his chemo schedule.

Dandelions and milk thistle

I broke down and bought a liquid herbal supplement for Rufus. I'm going to try it tonight. The antioxidant he's on already has some milk thistle in it, but so did the Ecliptex, so I hope it will be OK. Everything I've read indicates that you can't really overdose on it.
